We are actively recruiting for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. This position is urgently filling. Please see details below:
Location: Austin, TX
Job Details: Caseload:
- Full time 37.5 hours - split time between two elem schools
- Disabilities are varied...primarily articulation, language delay, and pragmatic language
- Both schools have an ECSE program
- Knowledge of AAC is super helpful
- Knowledge of the ARD process is essential
- Knowledge of school-based FIEs is essential
- Experience with eSped is helpful
- Will likely manage a caseload of 20 students at each school plus complete new evaluations as needed
Starting at $44+ Hourly
You must have:
- 2-3 years experience in a school setting
- Experience with creating a school-based speech therapy schedule
- Experience working with students in groups of 4
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies
- Experience with speech/language screenings
- Experience with collecting and reporting data
- Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of the SLPA and SLP
